Press release of the second meeting of the Committee on International Cooperation and Medical Tourism

On 05.11.2015 took place the second meeting of the Committee on International Cooperation and medical tourism. Among the participants were the representatives of public associations, who chose this Committee as main and additional same time.
Among the main issues on the agenda was discussion of the Committee's work in December 2015 and 2016, consideration of proposals for the organization of the Committee on recovery and rehabilitation and the Charity Committee in health care as a subcommittee of the Committee on International Cooperation and medical tourism, and other current questions.
To the discussed plan the participants had been made proposals for inclusion in the Committee's work plan additional measures, namely:
- The organization and conducting the health management activities;
- Organizing and conducting activities aimed at improving the implementation of reforms in the health sector;
- The implementation of programs aimed at active investment in the medical field;
- The development of international relations in the medical sphere between Ukraine and other countries;
- Organizing and conducting educational programs and seminars for doctors with the assistance of international experts;
- Training programs for Ukrainian doctors abroad;
- Conducting workshops on topical issues and innovative medicine leading Ukrainian and foreign doctors - experts.
Also, participants were invited to roundtable discussions on international cooperation and the development of medical tourism in Ukraine and abroad.
During the discussion of the second item on the agenda was decided to organize the work of the Committee on recovery and rehabilitation and the Charity Committee in health care as a subcommittees of the Committee on International Cooperation and medical tourism.
All participants of the meeting agreed to send before November, 16 their additional proposals for inclusion in the work plan of the Committee for International Cooperation and medical tourism for December 2015 and 2016. It was also proposed subcommittees participants to submit their comments on the organization of groups.
Participants focused on including a work plan issues related to medical management, implementation of educational programs, rehabilitation, reforms involving additional investments.
