Private equity firm TVM Capital Healthcare and the Kozyavkin Medical Group are partnering and investing in a Joint Venture

On May 3, 2019, Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic (Truskavets, Ukraine), widely known in Ukraine and abroad, hosted an important event for the domestic medical industry – an execution of a cooperation agreement with TVM Capital Healthcare, a leader of the international investment market. After several years of preparation of an investment project related to the implementation of innovative medical technology – the Professor Kozyavkin Method – in the Gulf countries, West Europe and Canada, the parties signed the agreement. Professor Volodymyr Kozyavkin and Dr. Helmut M. Schuehsler, CEO of TVM Capital Healthcare, were present at the formal signing ceremony.

As part of the partnership between the two parties, a new company, Vivus Medical Rehabilitation Company, was established. Its core task is the organization and provision of medical care using the Professor Kozyavkin Method in more than 15 countries of the Middle East, West Europe and North America.

The parties hope that not only will the successful implementation of this project stimulate the integration of innovative Ukrainian technology into the global medical market, but that it will also give a powerful impetus to the development of new effective methods of care for people with special needs.

TVM Capital Healthcare is a globally active healthcare private equity company with emerging markets strengths. The firm, headquartered and regulated in Dubai, expanded to Singapore in 2018 and invests in companies that transform the way how healthcare is delivered to make healthcare better, more cost-effective, faster and more accessible. TVM Capital Healthcare brings over 35 years of international, dedicated healthcare private equity experience to some of the fastest-growing healthcare markets in the world.

The unique proprietary Professor Kozyavkin Method, whose development started more than 30 years ago, is widely known and recognised among the international medical community. Tens of thousands of patients from around the world have already had the opportunity to undergo effective rehabilitation courses based on the Professor Kozyavkin Method at medical institutions in Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and Cyprus.

This is why international medical investors have elected to start their business operations in Ukraine precisely by investing in the development of an already proven medical technology that may help improve the quality of life for people affected by cerebral palsy and other diseases of the central nervous system.
